Thanks for all your hard work. I don't have a great deal of time at the moment, so I'd say go ahead and make all the changes you proposed. As soon as I'm able I'll try to look at the article, but I leave it in your competent hands. Thanks for taking such an interest in the language(s). I'm gratified as well to have somebody interested in this--THANKS for contacting me :).
Muito obrigao--or obrigado (I always leave out the "d" when typing, unconsciously, maybe a kind of finger-spelling of the language feature of the dropping "d", as in Spanish...but I think we non-natives would be best not to drop the d, at least in Port, maybe in Spanish it's OK informally). Anyway I digress.
I'll remove the NYT text right now. Thanks for the tip.
So what I'm trying to say is--good and I'm sure you create a great article. If I can digress further, you may be interested in joing the language forums at www.wordreference.com.
