Ronald S. Calderon

Ronald Steven Calderon (born August 12, 1957 in Montebello, California) is the California State Senator from California's 30th Senate District. He was elected to the Senate in 2006. He is the brother of California State Assemblyman Charles M. Calderon and former Assemblyman Thomas M. Calderon. Calderon authored Senate Bill 880 which allows kangaroo parts to be sold legally in California, in accordance with Australian and international law and the 1971 Endangered Species Act until January 1, 2011.
