[edit] Position of "press officer"
Slim, if you had read the article, you would have seen that he describes himself as "press officer". "To cut a long story short, on 31st October 1991... Hallowe’en ... it was announced that the A.L.F. Press Office had been created as a unit independent of the SG, with myself as press officer. "
As I said before, let's take the man's own word for the nature of his job. --SpinyNorman 07:56, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Latest reversions
Hey Slim, what's your malfunction? The edit I made is documented and supported by the words of the individual himself. Why do you persist in trying to remove factual information from the article? --SpinyNorman 07:28, 22 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Dispute
Robin Webb says he's the press officer for the ALF. Why shouldn't this article reflect that? --SpinyNorman 18:46, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
- I've been asked to look into this issue. Apparently you've found a very old article which states that, and you you keep linking to it. However, the link in this article itself points out that "The Animal Liberation Press Office, formerly the ALF Press Office until its name was amended to recognise its use by the Animal Rights Militia, Justice Department and other radical groups, and to protect it from possible attack in the future under the Terrorism Act 2000", and gives his address as "Press Officer: Robin Webb, Postal Address: Animal Liberation Press Office, BM4400, LONDON, WC1N 3XX". Why would you continually insert outdated and now-false information, when there is up-to-date and accurate information already in the article? Jayjg (talk) 22:06, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Biographical content
Article is depressingly short of standard biographical content:place of birth, family, education, marriage/children, and the like. Such content may in some cases be hard to find, but for any article which seems to be biographical is almost always necessary. John Carter 19:47, 30 September 2007 (UTC)
