The user has set up multiple accounts to abuse Wikipedia's email a user system, sending hundreds of spams. These accounts need to be discovered and the email capability disabled. - Jehochman ^Talk 17:06, 16 December 2007 (UTC)

I agree with Alison here that the single IP of this user shows nothing out of the ordinary. I even checked a small area of nearby IPs with a rangecheck and spotted nothing untoward. Additional information needed - such as the names of a few of these other accounts so we have more to check on, please.... Jehochman, please add them to the list for us. JzG said that he was still receiving large amounts of email from this user. Perhaps they have discovered his address through some other means and are not using Wikipedia's email a user function. I do believe his email ddress might be availiable on his personal website, in which case he is pretty much stuffed. However it would help if we knew wether the emails recieved had the wikipedia email header. Viridae^Talk 05:41, 17 December 2007 (UTC)

The mail was arriving form the Wikimedia Foundation's mail server with the title "Wikipedia email". I put in a server rule to reject it at source, so I only have logs telling me it's happening. Guy (Help!) 09:14, 17 December 2007 (UTC)
