In the past, when there has been a dispute on one of several related pages including Fascism, Nazism, and Neo-Nazism, new single issue Wiki editors suddenly appear, edit for a time, and then vanish. Based on demeanor and content, it is possible that some new editors may be violating Wiki policies such as evading bans.

Based on a thorough review of related discussion posts and edits; the topics, issues POV, and demeanor of recent editors by Cold_Porcelain; and previous interactions with Billy Ego; I believe it is appropriate to request a check user.

In the past, when there has been a dispute on one of several related pages including Fascism, Nazism, and Neo-Nazism, new single issue Wiki editors suddenly appear, edit for a time, and then vanish. Over time, there have been repeated incidents where a group of like-minded libertarian and/or anarcho capitalist editors have arrived on Wikipedia, and edited in concert to promote marginal viewpoints in a way that unbalances articles. This is an ongoing problem involving sockpuppets and meatpuppets.

Note: Billy Ego is undoubtedly stale, and I believe most of his socks are as well. Aiemeus (talk · contribs) == Smockroker (talk · contribs) are the last couple of Billy Ego socks to be identified, and probably the only ones recent enough to run. To be clear, Aiemeus and Smockroker were checkuser-confirmed as socks of each other by User:Alison; I am 99+% certain that both are socks of Billy Ego based on on-wiki evidence and quirks, but they could not be checked against Billy or his known socks due to staleness. Billy is fairly adept at evading checkuser, and he certainly tries very hard, so it might be worth touching base with Alison, who ran the most recent check on Aiemeus/Smockroker, regarding some of the technical details. Just a suggestion. FWIW, the contrib pattern and overall style of Cold Porcelain is a decent match for Billy Ego. MastCell ^Talk 17:43, 28 April 2008 (UTC)

Latest brand-new account to revert to Billy Ego's preferred version of Criticism of the FDA.

He's gotten more proficient at evading checkuser, so if Operation Spooner (talk • contribs • logs • block user • block log • checkuser) could be repeated as well (see archived Billy Ego requests) it might be useful - Operation Spooner is fairly new and has taken up the exact POV/arguments on anarcho-capitalism that Billy's socks have historically advanced. OS has inserted sources [6] [7] which have been previously deleted from Anarchism for being not significant enough for inclusion. Whilst these edits are not too bad POV-wise, it seems to me very strange why a new user should so coincidentally pick these two sources to be cited. I'd like an RFCU check just for assurance.

I realize the initial request above sounds a little like fishing, but let me add that as someone who's dealt with a number of Billy Ego sockpuppets, I think there's a strong likelihood, based on the editing patterns, that this is one of them. I'd encourage the checkuser request to be processed, both to confirm it and because previous checkusers have had the side benefit of turning up a number of other sleeper accounts of this banned user. Seeing the Contributions page of Crashola reveals fanatical POV pushing from a supposedly newbie account, adding in extreme POV on multiple anarchism-related articles which has had to been cleaned up by many editors.
