On May 6, 2005 ElKabong (talk · contribs), sockpuppet of Enviroknot (talk · contribs) see [1] added a section "Religious Police and Oppression" to the article Saudi Arabia [2]. The section and supporting references section is highly POV containing no information at all from Saudi or Islamic perspective, however the negative information in the section is contained in the references (although one link is bad now). Later that day Yuber removed the section and references with the comment, "POV edits, RV" [3]. The material was then restored by KaintheScion (talk · contribs) [4], another Environknot puppet. Yuber then deleted it with the comment "RV, make it more NPOV or delete it" [5]. KaintheScion again restored with the comment "Removed words "And Oppression" if you want more changes do them yourself but stop vandalizing the article, Yuber!" [6]. Firebug (talk · contribs) then reverted to Yuber's version [7]. Yuber then partially restored the section, now titled "Religious Police." His new version still does not contain the Saudi or Islamic perspectives, but is a truncated version of the original POV section minus the most egregious examples of religous oppression and the supporting references [8], although in his next edit he does insert information regarding one tragic incident [9]. KaintheScion then rewrote and expanded the section, maintaining its POV character [10]. Yuber then refactored the article, but requested a source for one of KaintheScion's contentions [11]. After several refinements by Yuber KaiththeScion then reverted to his version with the comment "RV POV edits by Yuber: go to Discussion page please" [12]. Yuber reverted with the comment "RV, this version is perfectly NPOV" [13]. KaiththeScion reverts [14]. Yuber reverts [15]. A helpful edit by Nobs (talk · contribs) [16] was wiped out by KaiththeScion's next revert [17]. Yuber again refactored, restoring Nobs' edit [18]. After several more reverts Yuber continued to work with the article, adding a reference for a disputed point [19]. KaiththeScion proposes an alternative [20]. Yuber slightly modifies his version [21]. Kaiththescion reverts with the comment "YUBER STOP LYING ALREADY" [22]. The article was then protected [23]. Petaholmes (talk · contribs) who had protected the article attempted to resolve the conflict by moving KaiththeScion's detailed information to the article Mutaween [24]. After the page was unprotected Yuber made a couple of minor edits which were reverted by KaiththeScion with a nasty comment [25]. A short revert war followed until the page was again protected by SlimVirgin (talk · contribs) [26].
