Raveau is a commune of the département of Nièvre in the Bourgogne région of France.
It is located near to La Charité-sur-Loire. It is also known as Le Bois de Raveau, for the nearby forest.

At the 1999 census, the population was 717. On 1 January 2007, the estimate was 663.
