Ramita Navai is a Britain-based freelance journalist who makes regular contributions to a number of European media outlets, including The Independent, The Irish Times, The Sunday Herald and Britain's Channel 4. She is a graduate of the City University, London. She was the recipient of the Broadcast Journalism Training Council's 2003 Young Broadcast Journalist of the Year award. As she holds an Iranian passport, she writes regularly from and about the Islamic Republic of Iran.
