Quintus Caecilius Metellus Creticus Silanus

Quintus Caecilius Metellus Creticus Silanus, of his name Marcus Junius Silanus (b. c. 85 BC – a. 7) was the adopted son of Quintus Caecilius Metellus and the son of another Marcus Junius Silanus. He was a Consul in 7 and was defeated by the Cimbri at Gallia Narbonensis.
