Quedgeley is a suburb and civil parish of Gloucester, England, situated south-west of the city. It is the only civil parish in Gloucester, and a has a population of 11,800.
Quedgeley Pond, an area of marshy ground adjacent to Clearwater Drive, regularly attracts Jack Snipe in winter.
Quedgeley is the birth place of 15 year old Scott Redding who is starting is first season in the 125cc Grand Prix world championship for BLU:sens Aprilia. He Finished in a sensational fifth Place in the opening race of Qatar which was the first Grand Prix of either two or four wheels to be run at night under flood lights obtaining the lap record in the process.[1]
