Hi, I edit wikipedia when I should probably be doing other, more productive work.

Here are my contributions to Wikipedia thus far. Just think how much I could have gotten done had I not been here! But, alas, the time is already spent, in at least a semi-productive fashion.

My modest dream is for all Wikipedians to cite sources correctly, including myself.

I am annoyed at the current deletionist tendencies of Wikipedian culture.[1] The criteria for deleting a page is currently at odds with what I consider common sense: would a someone searching for an article be better off with the article, or with a blank page? A good article about a event or person is always deleted if they/it are judged non-notable. A person can make headlines in dozens of newspapers including NY Times and Washington Post, and have 20,000 hits in Google, yet be deleted due to BLP1E. Also, article quality doesn't factor into the criteria. Perhaps BLP1E and notability requirements are currently too strict, and executed too fast, but I can't say I know the way to fix this problem. I'm just hoping to draw a little attention to the fact that it exists, and start some discussion on the topic.
