Princess Caroline of Parma

Caroline of Bourbon-Parma (November 22, 1770 - March 1, 1804) was a Princess of Parma, and Princess of Saxony.
She was the eldest daughter of Ferdinand, Duke of Parma and his wife Archduchess Marie Amalie of Austria.
On May 9, 1792, she married Maximilian of Saxony, fifth and youngest son of Elector Frederick Christian of Saxony.
They had seven children :
- Maria Amalia (1794-1870)
- Maria Ferdinanda (1796-1865). Married Ferdinand III, Grand Duke of Tuscany.
- Frederick Augustus II, third King of Saxony
- Clemens (1798-1822).
- Maria Anna (1799-1832). Married Leopold II, Grand Duke of Tuscany.
- John I, fourth King of Saxony
- Maria Josepha (1803-1829). Married King Ferdinand VII of Spain.
