[edit] History
The SR 3000 from I-95 to Dumfries Road was built by Prince William County in mid–1990s. The SR 234 portion from Dumfries Road to I-66 was built by Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) in late–1990s as a bypass of the old SR 234 through Manassas. The existing portion of SR 234 was renamed SR 234 Business. The last portion of Parkway, an extension of SR 3000 from I-95 to US 1, was built by Prince William County in 2005.
[edit] Alternate names
The SR 3000 portion from I-95 to the intersection of Liberia and Fairview Avenues (where the Parkway turns towards VA 234 and I-66) has been designated the Kathleen K. Seefedt Parkway. The SR 234 portion from Dumfries Road (SR 234) to I-66 has been designated the Ronald Wilson Reagan Highway.
