PRIDE 25: Body Blow was a mixed martial arts event held by PRIDE Fighting Championships. It took place at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan on March 16, 2003.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira locked an armbar on Kazuhiro Nakamura, forcing him to submit 3:49 into the second round.

Akira Shoji beat Alex Stiebling via split decision.

[edit] Alexander Otsuka vs. Kenichi Yamamoto

Alexander Otsuka won a unanimous decision over Kenichi Yamamoto.

Anderson Silva defeated Carlos Newton by TKO 6:27 into the first round.

[edit] Dan Henderson vs. Shungo Oyama

Dan Henderson won by TKO over Shungo Oyama 3:28 into the match, connecting with an overhand-right to a takedown into mount. From mount he unleashed a flurry of punches until the referee stopped the fight.

Antonio "Nino" Schembri defeated Kazushi Sakuraba by TKO 6:15 into the first round.

[edit] Quinton Jackson vs. Kevin Randleman

Quinton Jackson scored a TKO victory over Kevin Randleman with a knee standing and then some ground & pound, at 7:58 into Round 1. After the fight ended, and after being called out by Rampage, Wanderlei Silva entered the ring, confronted Jackson, shoved him and challenged Jackson to a fight.

[edit] Fedor Emelianenko vs. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira (champion)

With devastating ground and pound technique, Fedor Emelianenko won a unanimous decision over Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira to become the new PRIDE Heavyweight Champion. This was Nogueira's first ever loss in PRIDE competition.
