Paul Quinn College is a private, historically black college (HBCU) located in Dallas, Texas. Paul Quinn College holds the distinction as the oldest public historically black college in the state of Texas. The college is affiliated with the African Methodist Episcopal Church (AME) church.

Founded in 1872 in Austin, Texas, the college is named after William Paul Quinn (1788-1873), the fourth bishop of the AME Church. The school later moved to Waco.
The current campus, in Dallas, is located on the old campus of Bishop College, about a half mile west of Interstate 45 and two miles north of Interstate 20.
