My name is Mike, and I am a Wikipedia editor from the United States. My primary activities on Wikipedia include spell checking, grammar checking, and vandal-fighting. I also do a bit of copy-editing when I can. I am active on several WikiProjects, and hope to become an administrator someday.

My hobbies include, but are not limited to, editing Wikipedia, of course, programming, bowling, fishing, playing the stock market, relaxing and spending time with my friends. I also play several instruments, including piano and guitar.

I am also an amateur photographer. I have contributed photographs to Wikipedia through Wikimedia Commons; see my contributions page on that site for a list of my contributions. See my projects page for a list of articles which I am planning on adding photos to in the future.

I take annual trips to a semi-remote rural area of northwestern Ontario to fish with my family, and I have created my own wiki about the area. I decided to make the wiki with MediaWiki software in order to get a better feeling of what it's like to be an administrator. I plan on putting up a link to this wiki at some point in the future, perhaps after the project becomes more complete.

Someday I hope to travel the world and contribute to the Degree Confluence Project.
