The music scene in Boston is much bigger than it has been ever before. The music industry has spiked at record breaking numbers. However, the music industry has swayed forward now from major record labels to small independant labels. The music scene is also becomming bigger and bigger. Small club style shows are slowly taking over ampitheater style concerts.
Boston is the leader of this music scene. The leading bands in indie rock, hardcore rock, and ska rock. However, the demand for radio stations that provide this genre of music is in no supply in the Boston metro area. Radio stations have tried to sell independant label music on their radio station, in the past four years, the industry for independant labels has soared by record breaking numbers.

When people think of the radio, they think mainly of on aid radio broadcasting. While this is a huge method of radio communications, there are many more that can be utilized, and are planned to be utilized by SYZL.
Internet radio is one of the biggest forms of radio communications. Internet radio gives SYZL a reach of millions of potential listeners not just in Boston, but also all around the world. In order to listen to SYZL Online Radio, all one must do is have an internet connection, and a desire to listen to great music. One out of every five people have listened to internet radio in the past month. People who listen to internet radio are very loyal. One in every four people who listen to internet radio listen to it weekly, and one fourth of all internet radio listeners listen to internet radio daily. Internet radio has more potential than normal FM or AM radio does. Internet radio audiences have increased by 50% in one year. Approximately 12 million people listen to internet radio(as of January 2006) The growth is still continuing very fast today. In work radio streaming has increased by 43%. Online radio can sustain itself very well. With online radio, SYZL will continue to still broadcast advertisements, but also has the opportunity to place online advertisements on the SYZL Online Radio website. 41% of online visitors have visited another web site by clicking on an ad from an online radio station.

If I were to leave home and go away forever, what would I take?
A phone. I would take my phone because it has a lot of memories with pictures that I have taken, and it can take pictures that I can send back home. On my phone there is a webcam, so I can talk back to my family virtually. With my phone, I would be able to talk to people back home, and send them text messages.
A credit card. With a credit card, I would have a good amount of money and hopefully my parents would pay off my bills, so I could live. But if not, I would much rather have a credit card than carry around money. With the credit card I would be billed online and I could pay my bills on the internet browser on my phone.
A folder with all of my important documents. Documents in this folder would be my passport, my birth certificate, my driver’s permit, a list of phone numbers in case of emergency, my social security card ticket, and more. I can use these in case if I need to prove my existence or citizenship.
A few articles of clothing. I would take two brown zip up sweater in case it got cold, a simple black t-shirt, a blue t-shirt, and a white t-shirt if it got warm and to wear under anything for layers. I would take three long sleeved shirts, four muscle under shirts, and five pairs of underwear. I would take two pairs of jeans, two pairs of sweatpants, and three pairs of shorts.
