Nuestro Amor is RBD's third album and second studio album. It was rather amazing how quickly RBD was able to record a second studio album, since throughout the year they were busy touring and filming their telenovela Rebelde.

The album was released on September 22, 2005 in Mexico, selling over 127,000 in its first 7 hours of release, and 160,000 in the first week[1] (making it a platinum album in the first week already). After dropping off the Mexican charts, the album bounced back to #5 on March 19th, 2006, making an incredible bounce from number 15 to 5 when a 'Diamond Edition' was released on March 2nd. The Diamond Edition included the original 14 tracks, plus an interactive CD including wallpapers, videos, screensavers, plus 2 new unreleased tracks.

In the U.S, the album was released on the 4th of October 2005 and peaked at number 88 on the Billboard 200. The album spent 3 weeks in a row at #1 in the Billboard's Latin Albums Chart[2]. It also topped the Brazilian Albums Chart for two weeks and the Mexican one also, for over two weeks.

The album was released in Spain on October 30, 2006 and has peaked several weeks at the number three position since. It has been certified gold there for sales over 80,000 after only nine weeks in the chart.[3] In February 2006, the album was certified 2x platinum, just like Rebelde. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy in 2006

Also, a Portuguese edition of the album was recorded, see Nosso Amor Rebelde Edição Brasil.

[edit] Miscellanea

  • "Me voy" is the Spanish version of Kelly Clarkson's "Gone", recorded by RBD. "Gone" was originally released on Clarkson's multi-platinum album Breakaway. "Me voy" keeps the same meaning as the original - a heartbroken person who gains pride and forces herself to get over the one who harmed her.
  • "Feliz cumpleaños" is the Spanish version of Mikeyla's "Happy Worst Day".

Both songs were recorded in english versions for RBD's albums [[Rebels] and the Japaneses version on Rebels,We are RBD!
