The HR is a family of straight-4 automobile engines co-developed by Nissan and Renault. It is made by Aichi Machine Industry in Japan.

The HR15DE is a 1.5 L (1498 cc) engine, output is 109 hp (81 kW) @ 6000 rpm and 148 N·m (109 ft·lbf) @ 4400 rpm.
Bore : 78.0 mm (3.07 in) ; Stroke 78.4 mm (3.09 in) ; Capacity : 1498 cc
It is fitted to the following vehicles:
- Nissan Tiida
- Nissan March K12
- Nissan Note
- Nissan Grand Livina (Indonesia)
- Nissan Livina XR (Indonesia)

The HR16DE is a 1.6 L engine. It produces 110 hp (81 kw)
Bore : 78.0 mm (3.07 in) ; Stroke 83.6 mm (3.29 in) ; Capacity : 1598 cc
It is fitted to the following vehicles:

- Nissan Micra C+C
- Nissan Note
