Neyba

Neyba (also spelt Neiba) is a city in the southwest of the Dominican Republic. It is the capital of Baoruco province, and is located 180 kilometres west of the national capital, Santo Domingo, close to the shore of Lake Enriquillo, the largest lake in the West Indies.
Main industries in the municipality involve cattle and crops, the most important crops being plantain and rice. The area is also the country's biggest grape producer. Coffee has also historically been a very important crop.
