Talk:Ned Grossberg
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The following information is wrong: "A few episodes later, in Grossberg's Return Grossberg reappears as a board member of Network 66. Again, he invents a dubious advertising medium and convinces the chairman of the network to adopt it. When the advertising method is shown to be a complete fraud, the resulting public reaction against the network leads to the chairman being removed, and Grossberg manages to resume the chairmanship."
The dubious advertising scheme is from the episode "whackets" - and it wasn't invented by Grossberg, he was just looking to buy it.
"Grossberg's Return" deals with Network 66 backing a female political candidate, who becomes involved in a sex scandal which appears to be faked by Network 23, and Edison Carter. This ruins Network 23's ratings, and causes Network 66's chairman to make a public statement of support for the candidate. The sex scandal story then is revealed to be true, Network 23 is vindicated, and Network 66's chairman is forced out in favor of Grossberg, who has manipulated all the events. 151.197.114.152 15:24, 2 August 2007 (UTC)
