A motorized scooter is vehicle consisting of a footboard mounted on two wheels and a long steering handle, typically propelled by a 50 cc gas motor, such as a Segway, GoPed or BladeZ, or Xtreme Scooters.
A motorized kick scooter may have an electric or a gas motor. Electric motors are good for zero pollutant emissions and low noise. Electric scooters can travel from 10 to 25 miles per hour depending on the model, and go 10 miles (16 km) to 15 miles (24 km) on a charge (depending on the rider's weight and riding style), such as a ZAPPY. Gas scooters can travel speeds from 15 mph (24 km/h) up to 45 mph (72 km/h). (again depending on the rider's weight and riding style). Gas motors also provide many more options for upgrades and engine modifications.
