Montreal AAA Winged Wheelers

Montreal AAA Winged Wheelers was a member of the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union, a league that preceded the Canadian Football League. It was likely a team from the fabled Montreal AAA founded in 1872 as the Montreal Foot Ball Club. The MFBC joined the Quebec Rugby Football Union in 1883.

The AAA Winged Wheelers was one of a few football or rugby teams from Montreal:

• Montreal Alouettes 1946-1981, 1985-1987, 1994-present
• Montreal Indians 1937
• Montreal Cubs 1938
• Montreal Royals (football) 1939-1941

It made an appearance in the 1935 Grey Cup final, but disappeared afterwards.
