Montegranaro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Ascoli Piceno in the Italian region Marche, located about 45 km south of Ancona and about 45 km north of Ascoli Piceno. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 12,934 and an area of 31.3 km².[1]
Montegranaro borders the following municipalities: Monte San Giusto, Monte San Pietrangeli, Monte Urano, Montecosaro, Morrovalle, Sant'Elpidio a Mare, Torre San Patrizio.
