Montebello High School is a four year high school (9th through 12th) located within the Montebello Unified School District, located at 2100 West Cleveland Ave., Montebello, California, 90640. Montebello High School has an enrollment of approximately 3400 students and a staff of 121 teachers.

Montebello High School has numerous athletic facilities including a full sized swimming pool and large football and track & field stadiums. It features an athletic gymnasium and hosts sports including volleyball and basketball. Montebello High offers the following sports:

During a March 27, 2006, students protest over immigration reform, students from the neighboring El Rancho Unified and Whittier Union High school districts trespassing on school ground and put a Mexican flag in place of an American flag. According to El Rancho Unified School District officials, the person, whom appeared to be a Mexican nationalist was punished in accordance with the California Education Code.[1][2]

The current ethnic make up of the students of Montebello High School is as follows: 94% Hispanic, 4.7% White, .03% American Indian, .73% Asian, .06% Pacific Islander, .22% Filipino, and .54% African American.
