- Started Wiki-ing on October 20, 2004.
- I was welcomed to Wikipedia by Lst27 on October 23, 2004.
- On April 21, 2005, I made my 1000th edit to Wikipedia. In a fit of hubris, it was my userpage. Yaaay me!
- On November 26, 2005, I tried to snipe the 30 millionth edit. Unfortunately, to the best of my estimating ability, I believe the preceding sentence was the 29,999,998th edit to be made. Darn! :(
- On December 17, 2005, I became an Administrator! Hooray, and thanks to all who voted for me!
[edit] What I do on Wikipedia
As of late 2005, my interests in editing here have shifted nearly entirely to behind-the-scenes work. Vandalism and AfDs are the only things I do right now, as that always was more fun for me before, and it's still more fun and interesting now to see what kind of stupid things people will write, then OBLITERATE IT ALL. *maniacal laughter*
I also close AfD debates that resulted in a speedy (and the admin that did the speedying didn't close the debate), and I vote on AfDs in a shotgun manner.
As of July 2006, I've moved to a semi-active role, with hopes to return to being quite active. I've gotten the stuff that was getting in the way previously all sorted out, so I should be able to start contributing more again.
