Michael Anthony Harkey (born October 25, 1966 in San Diego, California) is a former starting pitcher in Major League Baseball and the current bullpen coach for the New York Yankees.
He used to play for the Chicago Cubs, Colorado Rockies,Oakland Athletics, California Angels and the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1990 he finished with a record of 12-6 with a 3.26 earned run average. Harkey played in 1988, 1990 through 1995, and then 1997 before calling it quits.
Previously, he was the pitching coach for the Iowa Cubs.
Harkey was a first-round draft pick of the Cubs in 1987. Harkey appered in 131 major league games.
