Plummer is part of the youth squad and was called up to the first team for Hull City's Carling Cup 3rd round tie with Watford FC in October 2006
On Soccer AM on 8th September 2007 Matt Plummer appeared on the Crossbar Challenge and managed to hit the crossbar.
