Massimo Carrera

Massimo Carrera (born April 22, 1964 in Sesto San Giovanni) is a veteran Italian footballer currently playing in central defense for U.S. Pro Vercelli Calcio in Serie C2.
He is best known for having played with several Serie A teams, most notably Juventus. He started his career with then-Serie D club Pro Sesto in 1982, then joining Russi (another Serie D team) one year later, and Serie C2's Alessandria in 1984. In 1985 he played for Pescara of Serie B, but left the side one year later to join another Serie B team, Bari, where he played five seasons, two of them in Serie A. In 1991 he signed for Juventus, where he played for five seasons, winning a scudetto and a UEFA Champions League. In 1996 he moved to Atalanta, where he spent seven successful season, being a fan favourite.
In 2003, 39-year-old Carrera was signed by Serie B team Napoli. He left Napoli one year later to join Treviso, another Serie B team. Since 2005 he has been playing for Serie C2 team Pro Vercelli.
