Martin Fletcher (TV reporter)

Martin Fletcher is NBC News' Middle East correspondent and Tel Aviv Bureau chief.
Born in London, graduated from the University of Bradford in 1970. Worked as a French and German interpreter for the Common Market. Began career as a television news programming writer for VisNews in the UK in 1970. Started with NBC News as a cameraman in 1977, began Tel Aviv assignment in 1982. Has received four Emmy awards.
