Markus Johannesson (born 29 May 1975) is a Swedish football defender playing for Djurgårdens IF.
He signed for the club in 2004, leaving Örgryte IS after many years. Prior to his spell at ÖIS, he also played for Rölanda IF, Eds FF and IK Oddevold. He won The Double with Djurgården in 2005 and is now the captain of the team. He has played for the Sweden national football team.
