Mariano Natalio Carrera

Mariano Natalio Carrera (born July 22, 1980 in San Isidro, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine boxer, who represented his native country at the 2000 Summer Olympics.
Carrera began his pro career in 2001 and captured the WBA Middleweight Title by TKO'ing Javier Castillejo in 2006.
Carrera tested positive for an illegal substance following the win over Castillejo. It is expected that he will be stripped of the title as a result [1]. His urine test was confirmed to have tested positive for the steroid Clenbuterol.
