Manuel Sanchís Hontiyuelo (born May 23, 1965 in Madrid) is a former Spanish football player. Sanchis was the only defender in the famous Quinta del Buitre and the only one of its members to play his entire career for Real Madrid and win the European Cup.

From his debut in 1983 until his retirement in 2002, Sanchís played 524 league matches for Real Madrid and he is the club appearance record holder with 710 appearances in total. Sanchis is the most decorated Real Madrid player of all time with 37 trophies and was captain of the club between 1988-2001.

Sanchís played 48 matches for the Spanish national team, including Euro 88 and the 1990 FIFA World Cup. His last match with the Spain national football team was a friendly against the United States on March 11th 1992.
His father, Manuel Sanchís Martínez, also played for Real Madrid (1964 to 1971).
