Paolo Bettini wearing the Maglia Ciclamino in 2005's Giro d'Italia
The Maglia Ciclamino (from Italian: mauve jersey) is one of the winner's jerseys of the three-week stage cycling race Giro d'Italia. It is named for its color of the alpine flower cyclamen. It is worn by the rider who leads the points classification for having finished with the best placements in the daily stages, independent from time distances. From 1967 to 1969 the leader wore a red jersey but in 1970 it was changed to mauve.
