The London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) Thompson Class Q1 was a class of 0-8-0 steam locomotives. They were first built in 1934 but production was delayed during World War II due to a shortage of components. During 1942 and 1945 Thompson rebuilt the Q4 locomotives. None have survived into preservation.
