List of women's presses
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This is a list of publishers dedicated either wholly or to a significant degree to publishing material written for, by, or about women. Most of them developed in response to the perception that women's cultural productions were underrepresented in the mainstream, a perception that spread during the " second wave" of feminism. The focus of this list is not on publishers which market their products to women, but rather, on publishers who have expressed a commitment to making women's texts available.
