King's Lynn F.C. is an English football club based in King's Lynn, Norfolk. In the football season 2007/08, they played in, and became champions of the Southern League Premier Division.
They are nicknamed The Linnets and they play their home matches at The Walks Stadium. The club was originally called Lynn Town until 1914.
On 19th of December 2006, Keith Webb was named as the new manager of the Linnets, following previous manager Tommy Taylor, who had joined Peterborough United as head coach. Shaun Carey, who had been caretaker during the absence of a full time manager, was named as assistant.

The club's record attendance is 12,987 for an FA Cup match against Exeter City in 1950. The Linnets hold a surprisingly good record for a non-league side in the competition. They have the best record of any team ever in the FA Cup. In terms of games played against games won, King's Lynn have won the most games.[citation needed] They also sit in seventh in the all time goals scored, just three goals behind Manchester United, although most of these were in preliminary or qualifying rounds in the competition. In the 2006/07 season they reached the second round proper of the FA Cup and played Oldham Athletic at home, the Linnets lost the match 2-0, but with an attendance of 5,444 and the game being shown on Sky Sports and ESPN television, some revenue was surely earned for the club; it was reported that they would receive some £75,000 from Sky Sports alone, although a large proportion of that was to be spent improving the floodlights at the ground to the required standard. Kings Lynn F.C are the best supported team in the Southern premier league.

[edit] The Walks Stadium
King's Lynn play their home games at The Walks Stadium. The Staduim is located near the local railway station and the Park. The Stadium has a capacity of 5,733, expanded from 3,600 for the FA Cup second round proper tie against Oldham Athletic. The stadium is located on Tennyson Road. The stadium has one seated stand, the rest is standing terraces. The name derives from the area of park located next to the stadium, called The Walks.
