Kenneth Street

Sir Kenneth Whistler Street, K.C.M.G., K.St.J., (1890 – 15 February 1972) was an Australian Jurist.
He was Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of New South Wales between 1950 and 1960. As chief justice, Sir Kenneth was also appointed lieutenant-governor of New South Wales and was called upon to administer the State on several occasions.
He was married to Jessie Street, a famous Australian social reformer. They had four children including Sir Laurence Street who also attained the position of Chief Justice.
