Karina Les Paul is an electric guitar, manufactured in Korea. Based on the model originally made by Gibson (Gibson Les Paul). The guitar is notable for its accurate replication of the features of the original model.

The neck is a single piece of oak wood (not bolted on, as with some budget models.) Little information is available about the manufacturers of Karina guitars. As of December 2005, these guitars have not become mainstream, such as other Asian copies like Tokai.

Tonally, most people would agree that Korina wins on an electric guitar over mahogany because of its lighter weight and better sustained tone qualities of sound. The cost of using Korina wood to a manufacturer of electric quitars has a price increase from approximately 50-100%. This seems to be why the "Karina Les Paul" manufactured in Korea, selected the name Korina for it's prestige name associated with the great tonal sound and expensive African wood.
