[edit] History
For many years, this station was at 910AM, current home of Radio Disney affiliate KWDZ.
In 1997, WLW owner Jacor purchased beautiful music 700 KFAM in Salt Lake City, which broadcast with 50,000 watts during the day but only 1,000 watts at night in order to protect WLW[1]. As a joke[citation needed], they changed the call letters to KWLW[1] and even began to air programming such as Dale Sommers "The Truckin' Bozo" (also heard on WLW) on the station[2]. The call letters and classic country format stayed on the station until 1999, when Clear Channel Communications moved the KALL letters and programming from 910 AM[1].
