K.B. Hallen is a concert hall and sports centre in Copenhagen, Denmark.
K.B. Hallen is named after Københavns Boldklub, which is a sports club established in 1876 as the first ball-playing club in Copenhagen. Today, the sports centre mainly facilitates handball, badminton and tennis.[1]
As a concert hall, K.B. Hallen holds a capacity of 3,000 persons, and is often the scene of rock and pop concerts. The venue has played host to many famous bands and artists, including Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, Josephine Baker, Laurel and Hardy, The Beatles (1964), The Rolling Stones (1966), Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, The Who, Frank Zappa, Kraftwerk, Papa Roach, Slipknot (2006), My Chemical Romance(2007) Avril Lavigne, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds(2008).
K.B. Hallen also hosts dance tournaments, flea markets and other events.[2]
