Körber PaperLink (KPL) based in Hamburg, Germany, is a strategic management holding company for the Körber Group’s Paper, Tissue and Hygiene Division. KPL combines the know-how and experience of internationally operating companies specialized in manufacturing machinery and providing services for the paper, tissue and absorbent hygiene industries. Each of these companies - E.C.H. Will, Kugler-Womako, Pemco (SHM and Wrapmatic brands), Fabio Perini, Perini Engraving, Green Bay Engineering, KPL Packaging (Casmatic brand), Körber Engineering Shanghai and Winkler+Dünnebier - has a specific core expertise. The KPL Group is represented with over 20 sales and service offices in Europe, North America, South America and Asia. It has more than 2.500 employees worldwide. 2006 sales exceeded EUR 461 million.

The portfolio of the KPL companies covers production lines for cut-size and folio-size papers, stationery items, envelopes, pockets, folded boxes and security documents as well as tissue and hygiene products. The range also comprises packaging lines for cut-size, folio-size reams and tissue products as well as palletizing solutions. Through the synergies deriving from the expertise that each company contributes to the group, KPL is able to offer customers comprehensive system solutions from a single source. The modular design of the machines allows for a high degree of flexibility and adaptation for each individual customer.
