Jesse Underwood[1] McKinley (born 1970) is an American journalist who is the San Francisco bureau chief of The New York Times. Previously, he was an arts reporter at the Times.

James C. McKinley, Jr., one of his brothers, is the Mexico City bureau chief of the Times.
