Jay holds a B.S. in Biology and a M.S. in Environmental Medicine. He has worked for one major pharmaceutical company and two well-respected CROs. Professional experience encompases both pharmaceutical development (mainly biofermentation and process development) and nonclinical safety testing, which is his current field of work.

In his free-time, Jay enjoys playing guitar and drums, home recording, skiing, fantasy and horror novels, indie films, classic auteurism, The History Channel, and Miller High Life.
