Javier Villa (born 5 October 1987, Colunga, Asturias, Spain) is a Spanish racing driver living in Arriondas, Asturias, Spain. He is currently driving in the 2007 GP2 Series for Racing Engineering, in his second season for the team. Before coming to GP2 he raced in the Spanish F3 Championship, where he finished 4th overall in the 2005 season, again with Racing Engineering.
He took his first GP2 victory in 2007 at the sprint race at Magny-Cours. He started from second on the grid by dint of finishing seventh in the previous day's feature race. [1]
He then won the sprint races at the Nürburgring[2] and Hungaroring[3] from pole position.
