Hi! I'm Ivain. Welcome to my user page! I'm so glad you're here!

Ivain is the acronym for Idem velle atque idem nolle - to want the same thing, and to reject the same thing - a description of the mode of living of those who live together in harmony.

My husband and I live in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, and like it here very much.

Wikipedia is a great resource. It's great to be able to contribute to it, even in one's own miniscule way. Over the years, I have read up quite a bit on sociology (my bachelor's degree), psychology, history, religion, and the lives of the saints. I'm no scholar, just a perpetual student; what I have to contribute here is simply to edit the ocassional typo, although, perhaps from time to time, I might have something to add beyond that.
