Itumeleng Khune (born June 20, 1987 in Ventersdorp, North West) is a South African football (soccer) player who plays as a goalkeeper for Kaizer Chiefs in the South African Premier Soccer League and South Africa.
After waiting in the wings at Kaizer Chiefs for three years, Itumeleng finally got his opportunity in the 07/08 season and has become the number one goalkeeper for the first team.
He made his PSL debut against Jomo Cosmos on August 25, 2007.
He has since shown remarkable maturity for a 20-year-old and with his talent, confidence and courage, Itumeleng Khune certainly has a great future ahead of him.
He was also part of Bafana Bafana's 2008 African Nations Cup squad but was not fielded until he made his international debut against Zimbabwe on March 11, 2008.
