Hello, my name is B.D. Adams, and I'm a student at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, IL. I am majoring in journalism, and hope to get a chance to write articles for newspapers and/or magazines on political issues and technology.
I believe that the Wikimedia Foundation's goals of empowering the entire world to information is one that should be universally important to all of us. With knowledge, comes power, and Wikimedia's contributing community is bringing this knowledge and power to both industrialized nations and the third world. I would encourage anyone who uses Wikipedia, or any of the other Wikimedia services to donate, even if it is only a small amount.
I am also currently working on my first book, entitled "Extremist Manifesto", for publication sometime in 2008.
