Industrias Metalurgicas Pescarmona S.A.I.C.& F (IMPSA) is an Argentinean company that is one of the largest worldwide providers of integrated energy solutions for hydropower and wind energy projects. The company was founded in 1907 producing cast iron parts and gates for irrigation canals, then in 1965 expanded into producing hydropower turbines, then in 1980 expanded internationally.
IMPSA Energy, a subsidiary, provides hydropower and wind power capital equipment. It has participated in more than 150 hydropower projects in 30 countries in North America, Central America, South America, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East since 1980.
IMPSA Port Systems, a subsidiary, is one of the largest provider of container handling cranes and of logistic solutions and operation and maintenance services to ports worldwide. IMPSA Port Systems has sold over 150 cranes since 1980, which are operating in more than 15 countries.
