Ian Hindmarsh (b. March 31, 1977, Bowral, New South Wales) is a retired Australian rugby league player. He played professionally in the National Rugby League for the Parramatta Eels and the Canberra Raiders as well as Les Catalans of the European Super League.
Hindmarsh started his career with Parramatta before salary cap restrictions forced the team to release him. After being released by the Eels, Hindmarsh signed with the Canberra Raiders. He played three seasons with the Raiders before signing on with Les Catalans of Super League Europe. After one season with the French side, Hindmarsh decided to return to Australia to finish his career with the Eels, playing in the second row with his younger brother Nathan.
At the end of the 2007 season, Hindmarsh retired from professional football to work full-time on the family dairy farm.
